Help Save The IRL

The Indian River Lagoon isn't just where we fish... It's a part of who we are.

Stretching over 150 miles along Florida's east coast, the IRL is one of the most biologically diverse estuaries in North America and home to countless species of fish, birds, manatees, dolphins and other wildlife. For generations, it has been a place where families make memories, anglers chase their next catch, and communities connect with the water and wildlife.

But the lagoon needs our help.

Years of pollution, habitat loss, declining sea-grass beds, and harmful algae blooms have taken a toll on this incredible ecosystem. Protecting and restoring the IRL will take all of us working together.

At Space Coast Angler Co., conservation isn't an afterthought- it's part of our mission. That's why we've created this page to connect our community with the organizations and agencies working every day to protect the lagoon we all love.

Here you'll find:

  • Local nonprofit organizations dedicated to restoration and conservation.
  • Government agencies and educational resources.
  • Volunteer opportunities, including oyster reef projects, shoreline restoration, and community clean ups.
  • Upcoming events where you can get involved and make a real difference and/or learn about conservation and how you can make a difference.

Whether you donate, volunteer, attend an event, or simply help spread awareness, every action matters.

Together, we can help ensure that future generations experience the same incredible fishery and natural beauty that inspired Space Coast Angler Co.

Because protecting the lagoon isn't just good conservation, it's preserving our way of life.

Where Tight Lines Meet Launch Lines.

And where our community comes together to protect the water that make it all possible.
